M. Kaganovich Mathematical Models of Sliding Planning

A procedure of sliding planning is considered in multisector economic growth models of the von Neumann and Leontief types with technologies changing over time. According to this iterative planning procedure a finite horizon long-term plan is revised at the end of each year, an additional year being appended to the last. Given a sufficiently large planning horizon, the sliding planning paths are proved to be in a certain sense approximately optimal.
